To preserve your works on paper, we recommend that you never expose them to direct light, as UV rays can damage the mediums used. Paintings made with pastel or charcoal require special care to avoid rubbing. Works containing watercolor are particularly sensitive to light, unlike gouache and acrylic.
We advise you to display them away from windows, and to use frames made from pH-neutral conservation materials and “Museum” glass with anti-UV and anti-reflective treatment. If you prefer to keep your works unframed, we recommend storing them flat, in drawing cartons, with sheets of pH-neutral permanent paper in between. Keep them away from light and humidity.

Jordi Lafebre was born in 1979 in Barcelona, where he studied comics and fine arts before taking his first steps as a comic artist in 2001. He was then published in several Spanish magazines, notably the youth magazine Mister K, where he created El Mundo de Judy (Judy’s World) in collaboration with writer Toni Front. His meeting with Zidrou proved decisive: after contributing a few illustrations to the Journal Spirou, Jordi Lafebre took part in an anthology, The Old Lady Who Had Never Played Tennis and Other Heartwarming Stories (Dupuis). Then, in 2010, he co-created a moving one-shot with Zidrou: Lydie (Dargaud). In 2014, again with Zidrou, he released La Mondaine (Dargaud), and continued this momentum, in 2015, with a series that is equally family-oriented and uplifting: Les Beaux Étés (Dargaud), which spans six volumes. Alongside this series, Jordi Lafebre published Malgré tout in 2020—also with Dargaud—for which he wrote and illustrated the story. In 2024, he published Je suis leur silence, the story of a psychiatrist who returns for a second volume a year later in Je suis un ange perdu.
