To preserve your painted volumes, we recommend that you keep them away from direct light and display them away from windows. Pigments, like the materials used, are sensitive to UV rays.
Remember to dust your works from time to time with a soft cloth or feather duster.
A 1988 graduate of the École Estienne, Stan Manoukian began his career as a comic artist, designer, and storyboard artist in France and the United States. In 2007, he set himself the challenge of creating one monster a day for a year. This experiment led to the book Diary of Inhuman Species, published by Ankama the following year. Since then, he has developed a rich universe populated by fantastical creatures, blending drawing, sculpture and imagination, inspired by the post-lowbrow movement. His artwork, marked by an omnipresent nature and a dreamlike bestiary, was brought together in 2019 in the monograph Zoologia. He then contributed to several major publications, including Les Monstres with Sébastien Perez and Benjamin Lacombe, followed by an illustrated edition of Frankenstein in 2025. An heir to Gustave Doré and Bernie Wrightson, Stan Manoukian is now internationally recognized for his unique style and his exhibitions around the world.
