Through his bold choices and the precision of his line, Christophe Dubois has created a world of his own, recognizable at a glance. The stark contrasts of colour, reminiscent of Philippe Caza, give these pages a unique atmosphere, at the crossroads of poetry and absolute escapism.

To preserve your works on paper, we recommend that you never expose them to direct light, as UV rays can damage the mediums used. Paintings made with pastel or charcoal require special care to avoid rubbing.
We advise you to display them away from windows, and to use frames made from pH-neutral conservation materials and “Museum” glass with anti-UV and anti-reflective treatment. If you prefer to keep your works unframed, we recommend storing them flat, in drawing cartons, with sheets of pH-neutral permanent paper in between. Keep them away from light and humidity.

Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Christophe Dubois began his career as a graphic designer before returning to his first love: comic art. In 2007, his collaboration with scriptwriter Nicolas Pona gave rise to Le Cycle d’Ostruce, a four-volume series published by Éditions du Lombard, in which he displayed a striking artistic style made of large, bold blocks of colour that were incredibly effective. In 2012, he created the two-part series La Ballade de Magdalena, before teaming up with scriptwriter Rodolphe for the science-fiction series TER (2017), published by Éditions Daniel Maghen, which was followed by a new series entitled TERRE from 2020 onwards. The duo also created Rockabilly, a one-shot about the liberating power of art and music in the heart of rural America.
