Coyote

For over 20 years, since his debut in comic art, Coyote successfully shared his passion for powerful motorcycles through the now-legendary series Mammouth and Piston, followed by his greatest success, Litteul Kevin. A pillar of the magazine Fluide Glacial, he is an essential figure in the world of comic art!

A leading figure in humorous comics, Coyote enjoys strong popularity thanks to the success of Little Kevin. Among the comic book covers, the Little Kevin panels featuring high-powered cars are particularly sought after. 

To ensure that your pages are kept in good condition, we recommend that you never expose them to direct light, as UV rays can damage the media used to produce them. Although Indian ink is a perennial material, the paper support may change when exposed to UV light. Note that watercolor plates require special attention, as this medium is particularly sensitive to light. Pieces containing pastel or charcoal require special care to avoid rubbing.
We advise you to display them away from windows, and to use frames made of pH-neutral conservation materials and “Museum” glass with anti-UV and anti-reflective treatment. If you prefer to keep your works unframed, we recommend storing them flat, in drawing cartons, with sheets of pH-neutral permanent paper in between. Keep them away from light and humidity

Philippe Escafre, known as Coyote (1962–2015), was a French author and a humorous comic strip artist. Beginning in 1989, he published regularly in motorcycle magazines, including the series Mammouth & Piston. Thanks to this series, he caught the attention of Fluide Glacial, for which he created the series Litteul Kévin, his greatest success. He became one of the pillars of the magazine, with which he actively collaborated for over ten years. In 2005, he left Fluide Glacial to join Éditions du Lombard for the continuation of Litteul Kévin. He then published the series Les Voisins du 109, co-written with Nini Bombardier (2 volumes published by Le Lombard), and became a scriptwriter for Éric Cartier on Diégo de la S.P.A. (3 volumes published by Fluide Glacial). The artist passed away on August 9, 2015.
