Born in 1970 in Saint-Malo and still based in Brittany, Jérôme Lereculey is self-taught, having balanced scientific studies with evening classes at the Beaux-Arts in Rennes and Mulhouse. He cut his teeth with the Atchoum collective, which he co-founded in Rennes, and developed his craft under the guidance of Michel Plessix, Lucien Rollin, and Patrice Pellerin.
