Roger Exhibition

After seven successful albums, the exhibition looks back at one of the best noir series of recent years and presents nearly eighty original black-and-white pages, covers and illustrations from Jazz Maynard. This fast-paced crime novel plunges us into the heart of the thrilling adventures of Jazz Maynard, a virtuoso trumpet player and master burglar, in the working-class neighborhood of El Raval in Barcelona. A true master of black and white, Roger Ibanez depicts the twists and turns of the Catalan underworld with exceptional skill in inking and lighting. His innate sense of movement and framing produces sumptuous pages, whether depicting epic fights or the typical atmosphere of jazz clubs. The exhibition will also feature around fifteen original artworks inspired by the world of the series and created especially by Roger Ibanez for the occasion.
