Ralph Meyer Exhibition

At the height of his art, Ralph Meyer has created a masterful western with Undertaker, placing himself alongside the great masters of the genre who inspired him, such as Jean Giraud with Blueberry and Jijé with Jerry Spring. His realistic drawing style, steeped in the Franco-Belgian tradition, perfectly captures the scorching atmosphere of the American West, which he depicts in superb black-and-white pages combining powerful inking, lines that are sometimes thin and sometimes charcoal-like and bold panel layouts.

For this first exhibition in five years, Ralph Meyer presents more than a hundred original pages, covers and illustrations from Undertaker, as well as color and black-and-white artworks created especially for the exhibition. A selection of originals from Asgard and his very first series, Berceuse assassine (Lullaby Killer), will also be on display.
