From January 16 to February 10, 2024, the Daniel Maghen Gallery is proud to dedicate an exhibition to Luc Jacamon, the comic artist of the cult series Le Tueur (published by Casterman).
Graphic virtuosity
It is one of the few series to have conquered Hollywood. And who else but David Fincher, director of Fight Club, Zodiac, and Seven, to adapt this noir thriller! Considered a classic of the comic art genre, the Le Tueur series stands out as much for Matz's narrative talent as for Jacamon's graphic virtuosity. His paneling skills, his mastery of color and his stunning graphic effects are all testament to his genius.
The new exhibition at the Daniel Maghen Gallery showcases nearly 150 artworks by Luc Jacamon from different periods. A few rare pages from the first albums will be on display alongside original pages from the new series Le Tueur — Affaires d'État, presented for the first time, and iconic covers. It will also be an opportunity to admire a series of artworks created especially for the event and worthy of the most beautiful covers.
