From December 14, 2023 to January 13, 2024, the Daniel Maghen Gallery presents “FREAKS,” the new exhibition by French comic artist Benjamin Lacombe, an exceptional event in many ways.
Step into his gallery of fascinating creatures
Following the success of his museum exhibitions at Tenoha Milano, the Château d'Hardelot, and the Château Guillaume le Conquérant, which attracted nearly 300,000 visitors, Benjamin Lacombe invites you to discover his gallery of strange and fascinating creatures: Monsters, Mermaids, Samurai Women, and Witches are unveiled through a spellbinding scenography.
The exhibition will feature around a hundred artworks and sketches from Benjamin Lacombe's most recent albums, such as: Stories of Samurai Women, Witches, The Childhood of the Wicked, the Ugly, and the Hideous, The Best Mom in the World, The Little Mermaid, and Blindness Malaga.
For this exhibition, the artist has created unique sculptures in collaboration with sculptor and miniaturist Julien Martinez.
