Between comics and classic comic art
Born in France in 1966, Éric Hérenguel is a comic artist well-known to European audiences. A versatile creator, he has produced numerous successful series such as Krän, Trelawnay, and Lune d’Argent sur Providence. Equally comfortable with fantasy-Westerns, steampunk settings, off-the-wall humor, and heroic fantasy, he has also worked on several animated television series for children, including Wakfu from Ankama Studios. A fan of Dave Stevens, Milton Caniff, Frank Robbins, Frank Frazetta, Al Williamson, Will Eisner, and (of course!) Mark Schultz, he pays tribute through The Kong Crew to the American artists of the Golden Age who have inspired him since childhood.
