Taupe (Mole) decides to leave his burrow to discover the world. Along the way, he meets Rat, Blaireau and Crapaud (Rat, Badger and Toad), with whom he forms friendships and experiences many adventures. An adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s novel, Le Vents dans les saules is an ode to friendship, simple pleasures, and nature, beautifully adapted by Michel Plessix. The illustrator remains faithful to the original text while enhancing its universe through luminous, delicate and poetic artwork entirely created in watercolor. A classic of British literature, its comic adaptation has become a classic in its own right, offering readers the same sense of gentleness and comfort as the original work.
