A Western influenced by the films of Sergio Leone and Sergio Corbucci, first published in the early 1980s, Durango is the flagship series of Belgian scriptwriter and comic artist Yves Swolfs, and a classic of the comic book genre. Yves Swolfs is renowned for the virtuosity of his framing, his inking and his powerful covers, which make him a great comic artist. Comprising 19 volumes, 13 of which were drawn by Swolfs, the series continues with the prequel Durango - La jeunesse (The Youth), illustrated by Roman Surzhenko.
