Exposition Clément Oubrerie

For this exhibition, the artist has revisited his classics. Drawing inspiration from his original ‘Pablo’ artwork and his black-and-white panels from ‘Aya de Yopougon’, he has created nearly fifty new panels and original illustrations. Through enlargements, spot colours and variations, Clément Oubrerie delves into the world of his own comic panels, seeking to create an ‘augmented’ comic strip and, in this all-digital age, questioning what constitutes the very essence of a comic strip panel.
