The Daniel Maghen Gallery welcomes Christopher Dunn and Joe Weatherly, two talented artists specializing in wildlife drawing and painting.
Nature in all its splendour
Following the exhibition organized in the fall of 2012, Joe Weatherly presents a collection of forty new oil paintings, the result of two years of work. Through his artworks, he tells the story of Nature, beautiful, fierce, and fragile. His vigorous style captures the essence of the animal kingdom with striking realism and power. He draws inspiration from the artworks of artists such as Paul Jouve, Sir Alfred Munnings, and Bob Kuhn.
A young British artist and outstanding watercolorist, Christopher Dunn depicts scenes from everyday life with finesse and poetry, in which animals mimic human behavior. Inspired by the worlds of Beatrix Potter and John Howe, he brings to life a fabulous world teeming with comical and humorous details.
Daniel Maghen, Christopher Dunn and Joe Weatherly are delighted to invite you to the exhibition opening on Tuesday, July 5, from 7 p.m.
