Zanzim

Zanzim is a French author and comic artist known for the finesse of his drawings and the sensitivity of his narrative world. Drawn to images and storytelling from an early age, he honed his craft at the École européenne supérieure de l’image in Angoulême. After starting his career in journalism and children’s publishing, he made a notable contribution to Comix 2000 before publishing Tartuffe with Duval at Delcourt (2010), Ma vie posthume (My Posthumous Life)at Glénat (2021), and Les Yeux Verts (Green Eyes, 2023). In 2015, he took on the roles of both writer and comic artist for the first time with L’île aux Femmes (The Island of the Women). In 2020, he illustrated Peau d’Homme (A Man's Skin), written by Hubert; the title sold over 200,000 copies and received numerous awards (Fauve des lycéens, ACBD Critics’ Grand Prize, Landerneau Prize, Booksellers’ Prize, RTL Grand Prize, Wolinski Comic Book Prize, etc.). In 2024, he published Grand Petit Homme, also with Glénat.
