Tom Cuzor

Tom Cuzor grew up in an artistic environment: his father, Steve Cuzor, is a comic artist and writer, and his mother is an art director. Immersed from childhood in the worlds of drawing and fantasy, he nevertheless took a break to focus on sport in high school, following a sports-study baseball program, before returning to his first love after graduating. After attending several exploratory courses, he chose to specialize in world-building, setting design and character creation, enrolling in a video game concept art program which he completed in 2018. However, two years spent in this sector convinced him that this field—which was too restrictive and overly dependent on technological developments (such as 3D and virtual reality)—did not suit his sensibilities. He then turned to comic art, illustration and publishing, where he could express his stories and characters more freely. A comic artist with a passion for fantasy and science fiction, in 2021 he contributed to Go West Young Man, and later participated in a 2024 adaptation of Le Combat d'Henry Fleming (The Fight of Henry Fleming). He also collaborates with Editions Bragelonne as a cover illustrator.
